Angelo Tiburcio has spent years on the front line of anti-piracy operations. As Head of Operative Investigations & Data at Ruvixx, he leads the teams responsible for running high-volume anti-piracy campaigns across the globe. In this interview, he shares what it really takes to deliver results and why consistent execution is changing what clients expect from every vendor in the space.
How an unexpected path became a defining career
A little over five years ago, Angelo was finishing his second degree in Business Administration when he stumbled into anti-piracy a field he knew nothing about. What started as an open opportunity became an all-consuming education: weeks of training, months of client interaction, and a deep immersion in the world of anti-piracy that shaped everything that followed.
“I had to learn everything about anti-piracy,” he recalls. “The first weeks of training, the following months of getting in touch with clients and engagement specialists being involved in that field is what truly shaped me and made me who I am.”
Why fast, accurate delivery is everything
At Ruvixx, we have created a system that allows us to successfully work in a high-volume environment. In the volume space, the margin for delay is essentially zero.
“Being fast and accurate on delivery is key,” Angelo explains. “Not only do we have our internal quotas to beat but we also have targets set by the client. Being able to deliver that, faster and better, is very important.”

“The work that I’m doing is not only affecting us at Ruvixx, but also the clients,” he says. That connection between day-to-day execution and real-world impact is, for Angelo, what transforms a job into a vocation.
